Web Categories

Web Category Rules apply block, allow, or continue actions to web requests, based on the category to which the URL belongs. Users who try to access websites that are blocked by the policy are shown a Forcepoint block page.

Web Exceptions can be used to define explicit block and allow rules for web categories and URL Lists, and applied to specified sources.

Exceptions can be useful for cases where you want to block access to a particular category for most users, but allow access to specific URLs for certain users (based on source IP address).
