Migrating a v7.5 single-mode appliance to a v7.6 dual-mode appliance
This article covers the migration of a Websense V10000 G2 appliance running Websense Web Security Gateway v7.5 (Web Security only mode) to a dual-mode appliance running v7.6 Web Security Gateway and Email Security Gateway.

Upgrade your appliance and all off-appliance components from Web Security Gateway v7.5 to v7.6. Click here to see the detailed instructions for this procedure.

Use the v7.6 appliance recovery DVD to re-image the V10000 G2 appliance. Click here for information on restoring the appliance to its original factory image and running the appliance firstboot script to reprovision the appliance as dual mode (Web Security and Email Security).
Note 
You may not need to restore off-appliance WSG settings (on the TRITON management server, step 8) if you can initiate appliance firstboot within 30 minutes of backing up your Web Security settings.
