Step 3: Reinstall TRITON RiskVision from a USB drive

You can attach a monitor and keyboard to the appliance, or access the appliance via the iDRAC, to complete this procedure.

As the appliance is starting, press F11 to launch the BIOS Boot Manager.
It may take a minute or more for system to initialize and open the Boot Manager.

In the Boot Manager, select One-shot BIOS Boot Menu.

When a list of devices appears, select the [Hard drive] Disk connected to <USB slot>: <USB type> option and press Enter.
The appliance boot process continues, launching the RiskVision installer.

In the installer menu, select RiskVision Installation for V10000 Appliance, then press Enter.
During the installation process, the system will restart automatically. It takes about 18 minutes for the entire installation to complete.
You will know the installation process has completed successfully when the appliance login prompt is displayed.

Log in as root with the default password websense123, then immediately create a new password, as prompted.

Use the system-config-network command to update your eth0 configuration.

Use the service network restart command to restart your network interfaces.

Use the /opt/websense/rvadmin.sh restart command to restart all of the TRITON RiskVision services.

Configure your keyboard or language settings with the system-config-keyboard and system-config-language commands.
