Configuring Content Gateway to use an HTTP parent cache
Help | Content Gateway | Version 8.1.x
1.
On the Configure > Content Routing > Hierarchies > Parenting page, enable Parent Proxy.
2.
Click Edit File to open the configuration file editor for the parent.config file.
3.
Enter information in the fields provided, and then click Add. All the fields are described in Hierarchies.
4.
Click Apply, and then click Close.
5.
On the Parenting tab, click Apply to save your configuration.

Important 
Perform this procedure on the child proxy. Do not make any changes on the parent.
