Installation/Upgrade
Because of the new appliance architecture, you must perform a fresh installation and manual re-configuration to use Email Gateway v8.3. You cannot upgrade from an earlier version.

Backward compatibility
TRITON AP-DATA Email Gateway v8.3.0 requires a v8.3 TRITON management server. You cannot use it with older versions of TRITON AP-DATA.
Similarly, TRITON AP-DATA v8.3 does not support older versions of the Email Gateway for Office 365.
