Version 8.3 of TRITON AP-DATA Email Gateway offers the following new features:

New appliance architecture
In version 8.3, the Forcepoint V-Series appliance on which TRITON AP-EMAIL runs was re-architected for enhanced performance. The new 64-bit container-based appliance uses a command-line interface (CLI) for individual appliance management.
The TRITON AP-DATA Email Gateway virtual machine (VM) is built upon the TRITON AP-EMAIL appliance architecture, so it will benefit from the same performance benefits. The appliance CLI is used behind the scenes for the Email Gateway VM, so it is not visible or used by TRITON AP-DATA administrators.
Updated operating system
TRITON AP-DATA Email Gateway now includes 64-bit CentOS 7.2. This update improves performance and security of the VM and allows it to use software containers. Containers allow you to run the VM and its dependencies in resource-isolated processes for peak efficiency.
