Use the Reporting > Executive Reports tab to generate presentation reports in PDF or RTF format.
To generate a report:
1.
Enter a descriptive Report title. The default title is "Incident Assessment."
2.
Select a Time period for the report. When you click the entry field, you are given the choice of selecting a period from a drop-down list or selecting a date range using a calendar.
If you select the calendar option, you can optionally mark Specify start and end time to specify a time range within one day, or across multiple days.
3.
Indicate the Report content to include:
*
The Default report includes all available reports, plus a cover page, an explanation of threat-related concepts used in the report, and a closing page that includes tips for performing more threat investigation.
*
The Custom report option allows you to select any combination of individual reports and supporting materials (like the cover page).
For information about the individual reports, see RiskVision presentation reports catalog.
4.
Provide a Top N number between 10 (default) and 50 to indicate how many records to include in "Top" style reports.
5.
Select a Report format: PDF or RTF.
6.
Indicate whether or not to Hide suppressed incidents in the presentation reports.
Incidents created based on cloud app data that have no other threat or data loss characteristics are suppressed and hidden by default.
7.
Click Run Report Now to start generating the report.
The report process runs in the background. When the report is complete, a link is displayed under the Run Report Now button at the bottom of the Reporting page. Click the link to open the report.
After generating a report, it is a good idea to save it to your local machine or a network location. Only the most recent report is saved on the RiskVision appliance, so each report is overwritten when a new report is generated.
