Websense Web Security Gateway Anywhere v7.6: Hybrid Web Tips : Checking logs for Directory Agent errors
|
If you have multiple Directory Agents, a situation can occur where sending user and group data to the hybrid service from one Directory Agent fails but data subsequently sent from another agent succeeds. As TRITON - Web Security only records the results of the most recent data transfer, the original failure is overwritten by the subsequent successful transfer, and TRITON - Web Security does not show a health alert to notify you of the issue.Even though the failure status is overwritten, an entry is still written to the following logs indicating the failure:
![]()
websense.log in the bin directory
![]()
<DAS-ID> is the IP address of the Directory Agent from which the rejected user data was sent;
![]()
<reason> is the text sent by the hosted service indicating the reason for the rejection.
