SQL Server 2008 R2 Express is a free, limited-performance version of SQL Server 2008 R2. In very small deployments, it can be used to store Websense reporting data.

Due to performance limitations built in by Microsoft, SQL Server 2008 R2 Express is not suitable for all organizations; see Administering Websense Databases for more information.

For other supported versions of SQL Server, see System requirements for this version.
SQL Server 2008 R2 Express can be installed on the TRITON management server or on a separate machine.
Only use the Websense TRITON Setup program to install SQL Server 2008 R2 Express for use with Websense solutions. Do not use an installer obtained elsewhere.
