Installing policy updates

Forcepoint updates the predefined policies (adding policies or changing existing ones) on a regular basis. Forcepoint also updates the predefined content classifiers and file types it supports.
To install the most recent updates:

Click the Downloads link in the navigation bar at the top of the page.

Select Get Hotfixes & Patches. If the Data Security downloads are not listed automatically, click the All Downloads button under "My Downloads".

Under TRITON AP-DATA, select the software version. Find version information on the Help > About page in the TRITON Manager.

In the Data module of the TRITON Manager, navigate to Settings > General > Policy Updates.

Click Install Updates on the toolbar. (You will be able to view the contents of the update before committing to it.) A wizard launches.

Click Next.

Click Next to install the updated policies and content classifiers. Once you do, you cannot cancel the update (though you can later restore it).
