        <p>Endpoint auto-update is a feature that lets a network server push an endpoint installation package to client machines and silently install the package in the background. By doing so, the network server controls the version of the endpoint running on client machines. Note that the endpoint auto-update feature does not support the initial deployment of the agent — it only supports existing agents. </p>
