Unlike reporting, which tracks trends over time, alerting provides a quick look at events that determine the health of your Websense software or V-Series appliances.</p>
        <p>This paper focuses both on alerts sent via SNMP traps and (v7.7 and later) SIEM integration to forward Web Security logging data to third-party SIEM products.</p>
