Next Year in the Threat Webscape: Security Predictions for 2010
Websense® announces the security predictions for the coming year. Using the ThreatSeeker® Network, researchers in Websense Security Labs™ anticipate increased security risks targeting smart phones, Windows 7, search engines and legitimate advertisements. The predictions report also notes a greater volume of spam attacks on the social Web and exploits targeting Mac users. Overall, the emerging threats and security trends demonstrate a need for integrated Web, data and email security. Every hour, the ThreatSeeker Network scans more than 40 million Web sites and 10 million emails to identify emerging security exploits expected in the next 12 months.
