Overview

Logon Agent, one of four Websense® transparent identification agents, provides unsurpassed accuracy by detecting users as they log on to Windows domains. In spite of its great reliability, Logon Agent is less often deployed than DC Agent, due to the post-installation configuration that Logon Agent requires. This webinar will explain and demonstrate the process of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Logon Agent to make it easier for you to include it in your deployment.

In this Webinar, we will explore:

  • How Logon Agent works
  • Logon Agent deployment considerations
  • Configuring the logon and logoff scripts
    • Prerequisites
    • Available parameters
  • Troubleshooting
    • Communication ports
    • Available utilities and debugging options
    • NTLM v1 and v2 compatibility
  • Best practices
  • Demonstration
    • Logon script creation and deployment

After this webinar, you will be able to configure Logon Agent quickly within your network. In addition, if you encounter any problems, you will be able to confidently identify and resolve them.

The webinar will feature streaming audio. A limited number of phone lines will also be available for those customers who experience difficulties with the audio due to slow connections.
