Problem Description

ABOUT THIS TASK
Service Pack 1 for SurfControl Web Filter 5.0 introduced a new feature that quarantines any flat files in which Web Filter finds problems, and places these flat files in the following folder:

 \Program Files\SurfControl Web Filter\tmp\quarantine

Service Pack 1 for v5.0 included the TreatQuarantined.exe command, which removes any invalid connections from quarantined flat files and places them back in the tmp directory for updating.

This functionality is included in the current version of Web Filter.

To make sure that this command runs regularly, you must schedule an event in the SurfControl Scheduler. SurfControl recommends that you use the Scheduler to run the treatquarantined.exe command on a daily basis.
