Websense® offers membership in the Technology Alliance Partner Program to companies that display a strong security focus, market leadership, and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. In addition to OEM opportunities, the Websense partner focus areas include: internet gateways, certified appliance platforms, network access control, security event management, and identity management. Technology Alliance Partner Program members are eligible for a wide range of program benefits including: development support, certification of interoperability, coordinated technical support services, use of the Websense logo in marketing collateral, and numerous co-marketing and co-selling opportunities.
Becoming a member of the Websense Technology Alliance Partner Program is a simple three step process:

STEP 1: APPLY
Companies that would like to become a Websense Technology Alliance Partner can apply online. Completed applications are reviewed regularly and will be replied to within five business days. Applications will be accepted on the basis of meeting customer requirements and partner program objectives. Partners will also complete and sign a standard Websense Partner Program Agreement defining the business and technology relationship.
STEP 2: INTEGRATE
Partners that have been accepted into the Websense Technology Alliance Partner Program will develop a technical integration with Websense using standardized interfaces and development specifications. Websense will provide developer support for the partner during the integration process.
STEP 3: CERTIFY
Once development of the integration is complete, the partner will submit the joint solution for certification testing. The certification process will include comprehensive testing on the integration to ensure that the joint solution meets critical functional and technical specifications. After certification testing is complete, the partner is a member of the Websense Technology Alliance Program.
STEP 4: Market & Enhance Websense will work closely with the partner to ensure the market success of the joint solution. The partner will be assigned a Websense Strategic Alliance Manager (SAM) who will be the partner’s prime advocate within Websense, and will drive co-marketing activities, field engagement and support alignment with the partner. The SAM will also work with the partner to evolve and prioritize enhancements to the integration, and will ensure the availability of development support and certification resources as applicable.
