This global survey of 1,300 IT professionals reveals that, although 95 percent of businesses allow access to Web 2.0 in the workplace, only 9 percent have adequate protection from Web 2.0 threats. Despite the risk this presents, blocking access to Web 2.0 doesn't make sense, particularly since 62 percent of IT managers feel that Web 2.0 is necessary to their business.
