Handling undelivered messages

Message delivery options help you control how undeliverable mail is handled. Options for these operations appear on the Settings > Inbound/Outbound > Message Non-Delivery Options page.
Use the following steps to determine how to handle messages that are temporarily undeliverable due to error situations:

In the Notification email address field, enter an email address to which you want to send notifications that a non-delivery report (NDR) cannot be delivered to the original sender at the end of the retry period.
Mark the Use Administrator email address check box to send these messages to the administrator. You must configure the administrator address in the Settings > General > System Settings page (see Setting system notification email addresses).
