A TRITON appliance is a component of a complete TRITON deployment.
Setting up a TRITON deployment consists of 5 core tasks:
1.
Deployment planning and preparation
2.
Appliance hardware setup and/or virtual appliance creation
3.
Initial configuration: the
firstboot
wizard
4.
Post-firstboot appliance configuration in the command line interface (CLI)
5.
Installation and configuration of off-appliance components

TRITON V-Series and X-Series appliances come with a hardware Quick Start poster packaged in the shipping container. The 2-page poster explains how to set up the hardware and cable the appliance to your network. You can also access the posters online.
