File System tasks
Administrator Help | Forcepoint DLP | Version 8.7.x
Select New > File Discovery > File System Task on the Discovery Policies > Network Discovery Tasks page in the Data Security module of the Forcepoint Security Manager to launch the wizard for creating file system discovery tasks.
The wizard has 8 pages in total. It opens to the General page:
1.
Enter a Name for this discovery task.
2.
Enter a Description for the discovery task.
3.
Select the Crawler to use to perform the scan. Typically, this is the crawler that is located in closest proximity to the network server.
4.
Click Next, then continue with File System Discovery Task Wizard - Networks.
