Administrator Help | TRITON AP-DATA | Version 8.3.x
Forcepoint TRITON® AP-DATA Gateway protects organizations from information leaks and data loss at the perimeter and inside the organization, as well as in certain Infrastructure as a Service platforms.
It can operate alone in the network, or it can be paired with TRITON AP-WEB or TRITON AP-EMAIL to provide a well-rounded security solution for your organization.
TRITON AP-DATA Gateway prevents data loss through email and over Web channels such as HTTP, HTTPS and FTP. It includes Email Gateway for Microsoft Office 365 which is deployed in Microsoft Azure to provide DLP policy enforcement for Microsoft Exchange Online. It also supports the scanning of content supplied by third-party solutions, such as Citrix FileShare, via the ICAP protocol.
TRITON AP-DATA also includes an analytics engine that identifies and ranks high-risk incidents. It consumes incidents generated by DLP policies across all core TRITON AP-DATA components and reports on those with the highest data loss or data theft risk score.
If desired, you can use TRITON AP-DATA Discover to learn the location of sensitive data within on-premises data centers and cloud hosted applications. You can scan data on file servers, email servers, databases and content collaboration applications, such as Microsoft SharePoint and Box.
An endpoint agent known as TRITON AP-ENDPOINT DLP prevents data loss over endpoint channels such as removable storage devices; mobile devices; browser uploads; email clients and applications—for example, IM and file share clients. It can also discover and remediate sensitive data stored on laptop and desktop systems. The endpoint agent lets administrators analyze content within a user's working environment and block or monitor policy breaches as defined by the endpoint profiles.
A mobile agent applies DLP policies to corporate email traffic that is synchronized to mobile devices using Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
